Rough Idle
I have a 2000 pontiac grand am 2.4 auto and the problem is in park and neutral idle is fine soon as i put in drive yopu can see steering wheel shake and feel it in your hands idles at 500 -600 rpms if i raise it with gas pedal to 800 rpms its fine looked on throttle body and idle screw is tamper proof

Idle is controled by the IAC - PCM no mechanical adjustments can be made.
Either of the two could be your problem, but I'd say its your IAC or its circuit/wires. When you replaced the IAC did you calibrate it ? Was the port it sets in clean through to the intake ? I bet that's where the problem resides.

Only Parts Replaced Were Coils Boots Plugs Coil Housing Fuel Pump Filters Gas Cap And Fuel Injection Cleaninghave Done Nothing With Iac

Sorry bout that I thought in your preveous thread you mentioned changing the IAC.
I'd check in to the IAC though ![]() Idle Air Control(IAC) Testing Replacing Hope that helps
