1994 C1500 Blower motor

Two questions.

I have a 94 C1500 with 197K miles, great truck.

My question is will an aftermarket blower motor blow stronger then the OEM?

Also i understand mine might just be dirty, it looks like it will be easy to remove/clean but it has a rubber insulation cover that i just cant figure how to get off. I dont want to cut it off because i like to keep things clean looking. Any tips on removing this cover?

Thanks.

No not unless there is something wrong with the old one.

The rubber cover has a couple retaining pin locations on the top. You should be able to reach in and feel them. Then just pull it loose.

I found myself removing my glove compartment to reach the top screws. They're located just below the computer tray.
