Few races...

First race was against an IS300.. The guy was in front of me and he had at least exhaust work done. He ended up at a light in front 3 different times and I was right behind him. The first 2 times he took off pretty hard my only guess was that he was fucking with me or just enjoys driving as much as I do. I had my g/f with me and I wasnt trying to get yelled at thats why I just watched him those first 2 times. The 3rd light we got to I'm still behind him and hes up front. He goes WOT when the light turns green. This time I went with him. I quickly jumped all over his ass and proceeded to pass at a pretty fast pace. I was pulling this guy without a doubt and once I had about 1/2 car on him he let off. The guy never got up beside again which sucked because I wanted to go heads up but o'well...

Second race. I was just leaving the gas station after filling up and talking to this guy in a new Shelby that was pumping behind me. Sick ass car. Well as I was pulling out a Mustang (94-98ish) with some seriously loud exhaust pulls up next to me. He was revving his engine at the Shelby at the gas station. I looked over at him and revved mine just enough to get his attention. He kinda smirked at me but gave me the nod so I was sure it was on. Well light goes green and he puts about a car length on me, but when he hit second he fell off hard because I got that car back and put 1 on him up to about 80. Guy was pretty coll and gave me thumbs up...

Third race was yesterday coming home from work on the highway. I see what appeared to be a Honda S2000 jumping through the light traffic. The guy gets up close to me and I go ahead and give it 3/4 throttle to match his speed. He gets beside me and looks at me and I gave him a head nod and he smiled. We slowed down to 65 and I honked it down. 3,2,1 and we are off. I put a car length on him off the get go and by time I'm up to 125 I had at least 3 cars on him. I went ahead and let off and we gave each other the thumbs up...

My car has been running pretty strong since I got that Intense PCM.. These are my recent kills. I will post some deaths here real soon because there are more of them than kills but its fun as hell trying..

enjoy and start the flaming...

Re: Few races...

Great runs, man.

You are VERY lucky on that IS3 as well as the S2K: Why?

Many of the IS300's in Phoenix are running either A)the single turbo NA-T kits the MKIV Supra NA guys go with since the IS motor is the 2JZ-GE(anywhere in between 400-700 rwhp-the later with fuel upgrades of course) OR B) a GTE motor/V160 6spd swap directly from a Supra TT...you already know what can happen to those just by looking at it wrong, lol

And...although they are few and far between...there's already a few companies doing the 2JZ-GTE w/ small-medium single turbo swap into S2000's.

It's getting rediculous as to not knowing what the heck you are up against. The 4th time I ever raced an IS300 in Phoenix...(I had beaten 3 previous ones back in MN before moving to AZ) I was kind of expecting to slaughter him, as that had been the outcome with the other 3 I'd raced. All was fine and dandy until he did a quick sprint(heard turbo spool), let his foot of the gas, and heard *pshhh*...Then I thougt, WHAT THA F**K WAS THAT...because I still had tied in wg and recirc BOV(can't hear anything but motor), so I knew that wasn't me. We lined up and, although I got the jump...2.5 cars ahead later, he went from well behind me to in WELL in front in less than 4 secs, lol.

He slowed down and and I asked jokingly "What the hell was THAT?"
His reply- Supra TT swap with Boost Logic 74mm...I laughed and said go on..you have some money to make with that sleeper.

Re: Few races...

nice races...I'd love to have more than one race in a night, makes it such a nice night because you can either win both and be happy, win and lose and be content, or lose both and spend money for revenge
