Upgrade '03 Durango

I just purchased an '03 Durango and I want to start modifying it. I was originally thinking to add the nerf bars, bull bar and ram-air hood first but then figured that having a mechanically sound machine is more important than a pimp ride. So... my first instincts were that I should start with:

Cold air intake
Exhaust system
Throttle body spacer

Any suggestions for order of operation, type to buy, manufacturer, who to order from or suggestions for upgrading something else first/also.

(The engine is the 4.7L Magnum V8.)
