I lost to a hemi cuda

ok, so this is how the race went down:he had a hemi cuda, i dont know wat year tho

i was visiting my cousins down in Phoenix, Arizona and the 2nd day there my cousin told me that he knows a friend that loves to race his car so i told him that i wanted to race his friend. he said he'll go call him.

so 2 hours llater im driving on the highway and my cousin's friend is drving at the same speed i am: 65. so he honks three times and we floor it. im heading into redline so i shift it into 3rd, at that time i was going 95. and the other guy is 4 car lenghts back. i look at my tachometer and it reads 7000 rpm. when it hits 8000 i shift into 4th and im going about 115 and pretty soon i hit 140. and i shut it down at 145 and i look back and he is about a 3/4 of a bus lenght back.

This is my first response to any of your posts, but...from watching the others and your lack of proof. I just want you to know, unless you come out with proof of your car...YOU, my friend, are about to get owned. Here's why:

I happen to have lived in Phoenix for over a year(refer to my "Porsche Cannibalism" thread...) In fact my car is still down there. I never got to visit the Pavillion on Sat. nights off of Indian Bend, but have quite a bit of knowledge as to the faster street cars in Phx(through various Supra guys, muscle car guys, SECC members, etc.)

So, what color was this 'Cuda you raced? No one expects you to know years, its kinda tough with the older cars unless they have a model year specific detail about them. Since you claim to have beaten him and saw him in your rearview...did it have a scoop or any other type of inlet on the hood?...Stripes or not? (This is all helping me narrow down the quicker Cuda's in town)

So, 7000 rpm regularly with a redline of 8000...on a '69 Charger. Wow, VERY impressive seeing as how my little 4 cylinder only has a 7k redline...and seeing how the BRAND NEW 7.0L C6Z06 only has a 7k redline...and 8.0L SRT-10 has a 6,250 redline.....see where I'm going with this? VERY hard to belive you can run your big block car up to 8 grand and have it live to tell the tale.

I have MANY more ?'s and examples as to why I believe you are full of it...but last of my initial inquery is this...

Thread title: I lost to a Hemi Cuda

End of your post: I look back and he is 3/4 of a bus length back

Good luck

I don't get a chance to get back to Phoenix often, as I've changed my residence up to MN....but my car still is in Phx. And my company is based out of there with terminals in Fontana, Mira Loma, San Diego, Bakersfield, and Stockton(since I don't know what part of Cali you are in, I believe you are in the LA area, but want you to see I have access to any part of CA if I'm wrong). Any time you want to run your car(which as of yet to be proven to actually exist), and I'm in Phoenix....I'd like to see how I do against your "mythical beast"

16sp Huffy, FTW. I may get him initially from a roll, but I only have a 5 speed . He'd eventually pull on me and keep pulling....way ahead....off into the sunset.....

.....to his gigantic stockpile of crack he is OBVIOUSLY on.

*Mods: PLEASE don't close/lock this one until we get a couple responses from "Two-story 'Tony"

I'll leave it open, being a Mopar guy I have to hear a response.

Re: I lost to a hemi cuda

You have got to be fucking kidding me... this guy is not at it again

PLEASE close this thread and boot this kid. I rescind my previous statement that all his threads are gold, now he's just a nuisance

Poly you should read this guys other two threads from this week. He gets in more street races than anybody on af apparently. He has a mythical beast of a charger that he has yet to materialize proof of

This is his only evidence

Nah, didn't he have a pic of a car from Michigan also....nevermind the fact that someone pointed out the picture was from the early 80's when this Anthony guy was only 2 yrs old, lol.
