Thinking about buying a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee

I'm in the market for a car. One that I'm considering is a 2004 Grand Cherokee. I'm just trying to get feedback on how reliable the GC is.

It's a 4WD 4L automatic if that makes a difference.

I'm just trying to find out is it a car that will hold up with proper preventive maintenance or is it predisposed to having problems.

Here's a link to the forum on this site that deals with the Grand Cherokee. At that forum you can go through the threads looking at what other members are saying what the problems are or what issues they are experiencing. The very first thread in that forum should yield some good info.
