98 expedition 4.6 P035 engine code

my college son stopped at autozone and received p305 engine code, which I was told referred to no. 5 cylinder. He says car isn't misfiring, but I would like to replace the plug and coil pack(s) myself rather than have Ford do it. How can I identify which is no. 5 and how difficult a diy job is this? Thanks.

Maybe a good idea to replace all the plugs and wires if this has not been done in a while.
Then erease the trouble codes and try it again.

Cyl 5 is first cyl(closest to front of vehicle) on drivers side. Then its 6,7,8. Passengers side is 1,2,3,4 with 1 closest to front of vehicle and 4 by firewall. It's not that hard to do espacially on cyl 5. To remove coil you'll need a 7mm socket, just unplug it, remove bolt and pull coil out. Then replace plug and reassemble. But I would change all plugs at the same time, maybe not all coils(cause of cost) but its not a bad idea to eventually replace them all, even one by one spread out. Good luck with cyl 4 and 7 that fuel regulator really gets in the way on 7.
