a/c short cycling
My Haynes manual doesn't give much info concerning the the analysis or repair when an a/c short cycling code shows up in the trouble codes on my '93 SSE.
Does anyone have any specifics? Thanks in advance, Jim

Short cycling in an AC system is often caused by one of the pressure switches. Usually the charge is low and causes the compressor to come on and off. Check the charge and see if it is up to spec. If not you will need to recharge the system. If the charge is correct check the low pressure switch which may need to be replaced.
