EGR Valve on 95 Ford Contour V6

Schucks showed a 336 and 337 code on their scanner reader . PFE sensor signal high and EGR feedback signal high== Does that mean the EGR is faulty and can it be checked? Check engine light comes on at higher RPM and goes out at lower RPM

If the EGR valve is operated by an electrical selenoid it can be checked by measuring the resistance with an ohm meter. If it is vacuum operated put a vacuum pump on it to see if it is holding. If you squeeze the hose going to it and the engine speeds up or down it is all right.
