wip: C33 nissan laurel

this is my entry for our local group build here in the philippines, IPMS-Philippines bert anido chapter. it will be held in november and hopefully i could finish this in time. ill just do some minor mods( small flares, a chin or bumper and lip spoiler) and i want to make it look like a VIP-drift car, maybe white with the r34 rims. but suggestions are definitely welcome for this build. the kit has some nice details, i its the first time i came across this kit. found it in the junk pile of a hobby store, for a dollar.

UPDATES!!!!!!!!!!!!
here is the new front and rear axle/suspension assembly:

the new stance and body work!!!
added a new custom chin, some side skirts. as you can see, the rear wheels are sticking out, so i will make some flares on the rear:

thanks. ill be posting more pics this week. i already puttied the rear flares and skirt, and added the muffler and some interior work done already.

This looks nice! I have never seen this kit before, and it look like you are off to a good start. I think the 19" rims look big because the bodykit is not done but with the body kit finished it will look lower and the 19" rims will look perfect. But the GTR rims are as good. Maybe add a deep dish? Anyway good start!!!

time for an update!!!
i have finished all the putty and interior work. here are some pics for you all. i aded some old skool rear fender flares for the widened wheels

update:
some pics before this is finally completed. i will be adding some rubber bits around he wheel wells.(just have to find some rubber like material,,) a few more weathering here and there and it will be done.
also changed the front wheels to r33 rims(i crashed and ended up ruining the right side front of the car, hence the replaced fender and hood and rims, and the taped front chin. )


now i have to leave this off for a while, working for a client's model - an architectural model for HP computers' display stand.
