02 Tracker Idle Adjustment

I recently purchased an 02 Tracker, automatic, 4wd, 2.0 liter, in like new condition. Everything seems good except the idle is about 500rpm in drive, that seems a little low. I have looked everywhere for a service manual, but can only find them up to 2001. Can anyone help ? would like to "up" the idle about 50 to 100 RPM's. When I first put it in drive it "shudders" for a few seconds, then is OK. Any help greatly appreciated.........Thanks

Re: 02 Tracker Idle Adjustment

You will find that the idle is controlled by the computer. You may have a throttle position sensor problem or something like that. I had a bad O2 sensor and mine would shudder at idle sometimes, but I had a check engine light and a code.
