CD will not eject

I just got a 2001 Aztec GT with a 6 cd player. After the frist week I no longer get the CD to eject, nor will radio to switch to the cd player any suggestions

i had the same problem when i tryed to play a cd it just said cd err. the only thing u can really do is take the radio out and tack the cover off and get the cds out your self then put back together and stuff. maybe even take the radio out and look up online or yellow pages for a place to fix the cd player. but not to much u can do

The radios/cd players in GM vehicles always have some sort of problem.. i have replaced many radios for this reason... we usually do it under warranty, just put a new radio in, and send the old one back. But as said above, you can try taking it apart to recover your CD. Sometimes, believe it or not, simply disconnecting and reconnecting the electrical connector sometimes resets it, but not too often.
