4.3 liter engine information

Hi All:
I have a boat with a OMC Cobra Drive which includes a 1987 4.3 liter GM engine. The distributor is on the rear of the engine toward the cylinder #1 side (right side as you look at the front of the engine). OMC parts supplys the same length spark plug wire for all six plugs which I'm not happy with (extra slack wire hanging around could get pinched).

I have tried to get replacement wires at an auto parts store but the wires they have are made to attach to a coil not a distributor cap (the connector is the same female receptacle like the spark plug connection at both ends). The parts store checked previous years spark plug wires but they are still made to attach to a coil

Can anyone tell me if there is any premanufactured sparkplug wires for a 4.3 liter engine with a distributor.

Thanks,
Jim

Try Napa, premium wires for a 1992 4.3 Blazer.
