Anyone change factory fog to other brands? Or did anyone add different ones?

Re: Anyone put on different fog lights
I dont know of anyone that has, I think if you found some long skinny ones they would probably work just fine as long as you could get the mounting right. Some really small round ones would probably work as well, but personally I think theyd look stupid given the design of the front bumper.
Only way to tell for sure is to find out, do your homework, look at the important things like mounting and wiring, see what the stock setup is like, see what an aftermarket setup comes with, then go from there. Dont be afraid to go for it, my Intrigue is by no means heavily modded, but when I started asking around, I didnt find much info from anyone on here that had done most of the stuff in my signature, I just did my homework elsewhere and took a leap of faith.

Re: Anyone put on different fog lights
I like the original foglights, but my housings have cracked and let in water. My guess is that someone overheated the housings by putting in bulbs with too high of wattage. I've replaced the left one - but these housings are $125 a piece! If you replace yours, and have a right one in good shape, maybe I can buy it from you.

Re: Anyone put on different fog lights
I don't feel that these do much of anything except make the car look cool. I have had aftermarket fogs on all of my cars in the past. They have done a much better job, with the 35 watt bulbs or maybe a little higher wattage, they still don't put out the amount of light I like. I have put the Silver Star bulbs in them, still pretty weak.... I need a light that will light up the ditches, these never will. I use them during the day if it is a little dreary, I feel they are up for that, without the head lights. Anything more than that, no offence, they are worthless...

Re: Anyone put on different fog lights
I think it is possible to aim them, so that could be part of your problem, and yes I agree they arent exactly bright by any means.
I think the Regal has similar foglights, not exactly the same, but similar, so you might be able to get some better input and ideas from the Regal owners. I wont provide a link, but lets just say that regalgs.org should be a good place to ask questions concerning the Buick Regal.
