Who's dropped their Sol?
Hey everyone. I have the Eibach Sportline Springs on my Sol and I've come to realize that this is just more than I want. Being a daily driver these springs make me nuts. Every bump in the road and I feel like my brain is rattling, not to mention the trouble with going in driveways and over speed bumps, I gotta go so slow or else I hit the ground. Eibach reports they drop a Del Sol 1.8" but I'd say it's more like 2". Anyways I need to get new springs and I was wondering what everyone else thought of their springs. I'm looking for a quick review from people who own other springs to see what's good and what's not.

I'm using Proac'tive coilovers. at stock level, it rides like stock. I have it lowered 1.5-2.0 inches and it rides a bit more firm, but with no bounce. Ive tried lower and it rides like crap, too bouncy. I like the spring rate for my delsol si, reduces a lot of roll, im waiting around for agx springs so i can drop it lower, so ill have the right setup.

i have the the sportslines also and i have no problems with them
still rides nice and don't think it lowered it anough. It might ride rough because your shocks are gone, try replacing them with some koni yellows or some other shock and you shouldn't have any problems. I still have my stock ones but never affected me.

did you replace the stock shocks? You will have poor ride quality if you are riding on stock shocks with a lowered spring. KYB or other adjustable brands could help in the ride quality.

I have KYB AGX adjustable shocks and they're in fine condition. The springs are just too much stiffer than stock. If I put the shocks on the lowest setting it would improve my ride but then my car bottoms out when going over speedbumps, driveways, etc.
