Swapping 4.3's

I need to know if a 4.3 from a 1993 chevy C1500 will bolt to the tranny in a 1994 GMC with a 4.3. Both are automatic,2WD. I think the '94 may have Vortech 4.3 thats comming out, the '93 is not. Are there any other problems I would encounter that I should know about?
