|
switching from auto to 4wd high should i?
i have a 97 explorer and say im in 4wd low if i switch to 4wd high ill hear it disengauge and its good but if i switch from 4wd high to auto i hear nothing and dont feel anything but the ligh goes of on the dash.....
im about the change the transfer case motor (shift motor) question is i should hear a noise when switching from 4wd high to auto correct? |

I'm not sure how these systems work, but unless the automatic system has a reason to, it won't shift and you won't feel it.
You don't drive around in 4wd do you?

i dont want to drive around in 4wd if you see my other post about the noise i think its stuck in 4wd high that why i want to kno if its coming out of gear.....
