2002 Blazer coolant temp sensor location

My truck does not like to start some mornings and studders when it does. I have used a scanner and the engine coolant shows 405 degrees. My temp gauge shows its fine. I found the sender in the head. Mitchell says the sensor is located in the piping in the front of the engine. Can anyone point out the location of the sensor. Reply here or to my email [email protected]. thanks
