Hey all,
We have a 97 windstar GL and the Max air blower is not blowing. When you turn on the A/C (which is also not blowing very cold) it blows on the normal speed, but when you turn to max speed it does not change speed. Please help wife complaining....

Under the right side of the dash board in the evaporator housing there is a resistor that controls blower speed. It has to bolts holding it inand i believe a 4 wire connector. It should be next to a vacume pod. Remove it and youll see what looks like springs. Use an ohm meter and check and see if there is continuity between both ends of each resistor. If not replace. |

Re: max blower now blowing
I just bought a new resistor for my F-150 as my fan will only work on high. My Windstar was doing the same thing. The resistor is around 25 bucks at the dealer.
