about 200 hp

right now i have about 9k to spend on a car and i want a car that would be fun to drive but could fit 4 people ok. i was thinking about a wrx but the insurance was gunna kill me. i was aiming for about 200 or above hp (i looked @ a 9-3 viggen with 230hp but it was junk) i don't really want an eight cylinder but six or four is cool, also i would like AWD or FWd for the snow. i know its kinda specific but any cars that would fit this would be a huge help.

Re: about 200 hp

Look at more Saabs. Also Nissan Maximas.

Re: about 200 hp

9-5 is the bigger of the two, can be had with a V6 (both share some engines with different trim levels) and more options. 9-5 is 4 door sedan or wagon, 9-3 is 2 door hatchback or convertible, 4 door hatchback or sedan. I don't think a 9-5 will be in your price range though. Also, you may only be able to get a 9-3 with the 185 horsepower engine, but is still quick and can be upgraded past the 200 mark easily. Saabs are good cars for your criteria, they just require more TLC than others being a European make and all.

2000 and up Maxima may be a much better option for you though.
