Cleaning MAF on 1995 Contour V6

Was going to clean the MAF on my 1995 Ford Contour V6. The two torx screws that hold it on has ( one) seemingly filled with some kind of hard sealer so I can't get the tool into it. Is this common and mean it has never been taken off and cleaned.?How do I get this "sealer" off the top of the screw?
