ac button removal

does anyone know how to remove the ac button from the bezel? i am replacing the bezel in my brand new (to me)92 lsi 2door and i don't want to break anything.

If you unscrew the front plate off of the consule where everything is located and you should be able to just pop the button out without breaking anything. If that doesn't work I would suggest consulting a car manual like Chilton's on how to do it without breaking anything.

I think the A/C switch comes out with the bezel, there's a connector behind the dash. Reach up under the dash/ console from the passenger side to follow the wire to the connector. If you remove the glovebox you can see back there easily. Once the bezel is in your hand it will be obvious how to release the two plastic flanges so that the switch comes out toward the front.
