exhuast placing question
alright right now i have the DPI dx motor in my car.. i am gettin a full exhuast from the header back... (2.25 inch piping).. now all i am wondering is when i install my sohc vtec.. will the exhuast connect right.. or should i wait a couple months and then get the exhuast on with the vtec if it wont connect right... plz helllppp hehe

The exhaust is the exact same size. the downpipes on both engines are the exact same length so it will bolt right together.
A little hint to those of you with d15b2: the stock d15b2 comes with a very restrictive 4-1 Manifold. if you can manage to find an exhaust manifold from a d16z6, it will bolt right up, and has much larger, 4-2-1 piping. This frees up some restriction, but not as much as an aftermarket header. ALL SINGLE CAM D SERIES INTAKES/EXHAUSTS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE |
