Side Rear View Mirrors

on the old style mirrors that are cable operated, how do i make them work again? my drivers side moves really slow, and the passenger side on wiggles a little.

has anyone had experience with this?

You have to get lubricant into the lines somehow along with the "ball" joint that the mirror pivots on.
