Ugh code P0108.

I am helping a friend do work on his cavi toget it on the road, put new sparks in today, car wont top 30KMs on a hill, its a 2.2 96 5 spd, it barely goes, and when you hit a hill the speed goes down, and it seems when you hold the gas pedal in the middle it has more power, because if you mat it, you crawl at about 10KMs, put my scanner on and got that code, MAP sensor I believe, now the question, where is it on these motors, and if anyone can chip in on what they think is wrong with the car not running strong, please do. thanks.

Yea, thats a map sensor code. High voltage reading. Um, i'm not 100% sure where it is on the older 2.2 OHV motors, somewhere on the intake manfold for sure. But on the 2200 as your face the motor in front. Its on the left hand side right below the TB. You can move it back and forth in its place since its only held in place by a rubber gromet.
