either a 5w20 or 5w30 weight oil in synthetic. i would recomend either valvoline full synthetic or mobile one. do not use pennzoil or quaker state(same company)whatever you do. that shit slugdes up like no tommorrow. you could also go with a regular base oil from valvoline or mobile added with a quart of lucas, but not without.

5w-20 Synthetic & of course Royal Purple rules... but then again any brand will do since they all have to meet the same standards.

BTW, on the dyno, I did not get ANY difference in HP between 5w-20 Ford Synthetic Blend and the 5w-20 Full Synthetic. We did 5 pulls each, using freash oil and new filter both times. But that says nothing in regards to which one will last over time.
