trans o/d off light blinks

i have 2001 town car signature series. recently i put new transmission in it . after that o/d off light keeps blinking in it and sometimes it goes away for 5-10 min. and when light is on car runs very heavy as compard to when light is gone.i have tried to take my battery off for a while then put it back on but it didnt help. can somebody help me with that pls.

Take the car to autozone and get a free scan to find out what the trouble code is.

I'm sure you paid someone big $$ for that job, have the installer fix it right this time. Hopefully it's still covered under the installers warranty.
