Voltage Question

94 TC 4.6

When I start up the car runs great A/C comes on and all is good in the world.

After it is warm it still runs good. 10 minutes in I can feel the engine act up a bit and then temp display goes to 12 degrees F. A/C no longer is cold buy fans are running like Max Air is still on.

I know one sensor feeds the Climate control and one feeds the Instrument Cluster.

Both sensors are new and resistence checks out on both.

I know there is a certain voltage sent to the sensor via the PCM

Now if the voltage is higher or lower that would change the at the Instrument cluster. Is that right?

And if the Climate Controls and Engine Controls are getting that same bogus
voltage then Air would not work because it thinks it's 12 degrees out too.

If the engine is getting the 12 deg. reading fuel mixure would change too wouldn't it? Possibly the reason engine seems to stumble at that point.

Then engine runs fine but Cluster reads 12F at 82F and A/C clutch will not engage

Tommorrow it will do the same thing like clock work.

What would couse a voltage change to a sensor or possibly the ground side in mid stream.

Could PCM remember that this problem reoccurs and override the bogus readings at the same time.Everytime. making Engine run ok and leave Cluster and Climate control out of luck?

Perhaps someone can shed some light.
