Re: Power Window won't work
I just had to have my window motor and regulator replaced. My window would go down about 2" and then start making a funny noise, but wouldn't go down any further. The regulator was bad, but the shop told me I might just as well replace both the motor and regulator at the same time to save on future labor if the motor went bad. This was on a 2000 Bravada.

Re: Power Window won't work
Sounds like a window motor gear problem. If you pull off the door panel you should be able to see the problem right away. Replacing the motor/regulator is pretty easy once you get in there.
A regulator from the boneyard should be less than 50 bux, or get new/referb off ebay.

Re: Power Window won't work
My total cost was $398. That included a new motor, regulator and labor. I didn't want to try it myself. I was afraid that I would screw it up and have to have a professional do it anyway.
