03 Silouette - rattle in left power sliding door

I have been hearing a really annoying rattle-type sound coming from the left power sliding door. Can anybody offer some simple DIY instructions on how to take the door panel off - it sounds like something is laying inside the bottom of the door.
Thanks

Re: 03 Silouette - rattle in left power sliding door

the sliding door panel has the same setup as the front doors you need a tool that will pop the fastners out of the holes in the metal part of the door the fastners are most of the time white you will be able to see them when you pry out on the panel . most parts stores sell the tool a lot of people just use a long wide screwdriver just get as close as you can to the center of the fastner after you get the screwdriver/tool under the fastner there will be one about every six to eight inches around the panel. and don't pry the panel out too far as to bust it. usually when you go to put the panel back on you will need to put some new fastners back in as they tear up when they come out. just get it started in the hole and bump it with your hand and work the panel back on. be easy with the plastic film and it should stick back in place. good luck
