95 Caravan CV noise?
I have a 95 Dodge Caravan with 124K miles. I had to replace the transmission about a month ago. It was replaced with a transmission from 94 Le Baron with 48K miles. Since then every time I take off there is a " Clunk or Snap " noise from the front end, some times it comes from right and some times from left. There is no noise while driving, only when moving from a stop. The transmission is fine and van runs great, but this sound scares me. Does anyone have any clues what could be causing this? Thanks for any help.

Re: 95 Caravan CV noise?
Ask the shop to recheck the engine cradle mounting bolts--also the engine/trans mounts.
