95 Sentra Power Steering Return Hose
Has anyone replaced a power steering return hose on a 95 Sentra?
If so, how difficult? |

Re: 95 Sentra Power Steering Return Hose
I have never done one on that particular car but the return hoses are far easier on most cars to do than the high pressure hoses. They typically have a simple hose clamp on each end that can be removed with a screw driver or socket driver, put a bucket or drain pan under the low end it is going to make a mess when you unhook it, then put the new one back on.
After you put the new one on run the steering wheel back and forth a few times to get the air out of the lines then top of the fluid. |

Torch,
Thanks! I found that Edelmann has the return hose w/all fittings for less tha $10. The local Nissan dealer wants $182.85. I'm going to take a stab at it. I'll give you a WWE update when I'm finished. Lou |

Re: 95 Sentra Power Steering Return Hose
You're welcome.
Replacing the hose shouldn't be too hard to do. Yeah the dealers always want to stick it to you, the timing belt for my Suzuki was $15 at Autozone, dealer wanted $600 to replace it, I just did it myself. |
