Re: electric mirrors work only one direction?
Not sure if this will work but has in the past on other cars. Roll down the window and while using the controls push a little on the mirror in the direction you want it to go. Sometimes they get stuck if you put them to far in one area.. Just a thought.. Hope it helps... Gary

Re: electric mirrors work only one direction?
The mirror switch on the door is corroded. Snow and water fall right in to it when you open the door in bad weather. You can remove the switch and open it up by prying open the two retaining clips. Open the switch and you will be able to lift off a rubber pad that has several copper contacts glued to it. Simply spray clean with contact cleaner from radio shack. Also spray the circuit board contacts that will be easy to see. I also used a q-tip to agitate the cleaner before it vaporized but go easy if you do this. Let it dry, put back together and re install. The bottom line is it works and saves the cost of a 30.00 part.
