All signs point to heater core
My blazer is leaking antifreeze behind the passenger side wheel. There is a mist and the smell of antifreeze inside. There is no leak inside on the floor and the heat does work. Is the heater core my problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Re: All signs point to heater core
Before condemning the heater core, inspect the heater hoses that run to the firewall. I leaking hose can allow coolant to run inside and give the impression of a faulty core.

Re: All signs point to heater core
And if you are running old green coolant.
Do not breath in them fumes. The fumes have been known to cause kedney and lung problems. Keep the windows down and well vented and fix as soon as you can..
