Running Boards for my 2002 4Door Blazer LS?

I am having the worst time finding running boards for my 2002 2WD 4 Door Blazer. I have looked at several dealers and they seem to have a problem with the 2002. When the guys look through the catalogs there will be a Trailblazer listed for 2002 but not a Blazer. Are the trailblazer and the blazer the same thing? I know that the Trailblazer replaced the Blazer and the newer ones don't have the same body style. Does anyone know where I can purchase paint to match boards? I don't want the bars. Thanks.

In 02 there was a blazer and a trailblazer - Not the same.

I see what you mean though. I checked at runningboardwarehouse.com under factory style boards and they only show 97 to 01 blazer. Being curious I scrolled down to GMC and lo and behold they show GMC - 97 to 04 Blazer.

We know GMC should be Jimmy and the Jimmy ended in 01 but computers only do what they are told. Someone somewhere decided Blazers ended in 01 and Jimmy ran till 04 and put that into a computer data base. All following computers blindly copied and accepted that info without question.

You need to find a supplier with a Human who also understands it is blazer to 04 and jimmy to 01 and is willing to take on the computer and get you your boards. Good luck finding a human who is sharp enough and cares enough to help you.

I actually have talked with humans. They tell me the same thing the catalogs do. I guess we too are programed by the computer and what it says (just this time just what the computer prints out). I was hoping that I could find someone on this forum that had running boards on the same model that could help me out. Thanks for your imput and looking.

Try www.stylinconcepts.com. Great site for Blazer owners. Link for running boards: http://www.stylintrucks.com/sn.aspx?...sults_trigger=

Assuming you are looking at the Lund factory style lighted/non-lighted paintable boards, you will need a custom bracket also (which they sell) to make it fit your truck, but its what you're lookin' for right?

Re: Running Boards for my 2002 4Door Blazer LS?

Finally found some running boards on Ebay for $99.00. I paid a total of $149.00 with shipping and they were brand new. Exactly what I was looking for. Here is what I purchased: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...095142046&rd=1

Thanks for all your help.

Now I am looking for a replacement wheel.
