Cruise has stopped working
90' 6000 LE 130k miles, 3.1ltr. Just recently the cruise has stopped working. It has been acting up by working sometimes, then not. Now it has stopped completly. Where should I start to look for problems first. Thanks.

Re: Cruise has stopped working
Looks like if I am driving along, and push the "slide" button to increase speed, that works, but it will NOT hold a cruising speed by pressing the "side" button.

No one has any ideas on this?

Re: Cruise has stopped working
Start by checking for any loose or broken wires. If that still doesn't help, then check the vacuum line that controls vacuum cylinders. Also check any lines that are under the dash.

Re: Cruise has stopped working
I would stick a vacuum test pump on the vacuum port and see if the diaphram will hold vacuum

Re: Cruise has stopped working
Looks like it was the turn signal / cruise handle lever. I replaced it because it was badly busted up from usage. It must have something to do with the way the cruise operates. Thanks for the ideas anyways.
