radiator leak

i have an 89 240, auto and after driving the car for a while then stopping and turning it off it leaks radiator fluid. this happened to me about 2 weeks ago and i noticed a hole in the upper radiator hose so i replaced it. sure enough after about another week or so it still leaks. any ideas?

Re: radiator leak

could be anything. find the leak. fill your car with water or coolant and run it until it builds pressure(warms to op temp), it should leak at that point.

Re: radiator leak

yeah i did that. took my car to the mechanic and it was another hose. it makes sense tho.. all the hoses were installed at the same time, so they all start to blow at about the same time.. gotta replace all of them now.. $80
