BEat a viper

Yup you read it right. I beat a viper. HEre it goes:
Yesterday I was driving home from school, and I see this beautiful blue car, you guessed it a viper. I caught up to it and tried to look at it, then we stopped a t a light. i rolled my window down and said "nice ass car," the driver said thanks, and said "yea you too." then i asked him to race and he just laughed. I started to rev my engine and so did he, then i knew it was on. The light turned green I spun the tires off the line so he beat me off the line. But as soon as I hit 2nd gear I past him, and he never caught up. We hit about 100 and I slowed down for a light. I beat him by about a car length, barely. He was like damn son, and he asks me to pull over. We pull into a bank parking lot and we look at my engine and we look at each others and he shook my hand and says "good job, kid" then we went out seperate ways. Greatest day of my life.

In terms of vehicle family ties, it's like the oldest brother who's a high-school wide-reciever getting beat by his 10yr-old brother in a foot race .

Yea he was really nice about it, but I knew he was crying on the inside. Today I was at my gfs house for a family bbq. you know how that goes. ANd her uncle comes in and says "is that your car outside," I was like "yea want a ride?" He says "no, no I got my car outside." We went to look at it and it was a BMW z3. I was like "damn dude thats nice."
THen he was like " do you wanna ride?" i was like yea so he took me for a spin around the block, He tried to show off a little bit by squealing the tires and taking turns really fast. But when we got back to my gfs house I ask him if he wants to do a little comparitive driving. He was like "with this thing?" I was like "yea, you scared?" He was like "after we eat, i cant be beating neons on an empty stomach." Ok race set. It was the topic of conversation at the dinner table. People were making bets and shit against me. But see the thing is that I never did show him my car he just looked at. He has no idea what he has under the hood. Ok everyone was set. My gf has a long driveway that we decided to race down because everyone wanted to watch. So we both get in out cars and line up. My gf decided to give us the go. She puts her arms up and and then down and off we go. The driveway had a little gravel on it so of course I spin the tires. But again when i hit 2nd gear i just flew right past him and I killed him, it was hilarious. we slow down i turn back around and go back to the house. He was a little pissed that I didnt tell what was under the hood. So we then looked at my engine and everyone in the house looked at it. He was like"you hussled me kid" i just laughed. I love being the underestimated underdog.

Awesome kills, the M3 is funny, but the viper is bad ass. I threw revs on a viper once, he laughed and said "cops are right over there" so I looked, and yes, a cruser was laughing in the turn lane, and yep, he did a u and followed me forever, but never pulled me over. I learned my lesson well that day to leave them the hell alone

i would love to race hybrid. There is a post on the turbo board, that says hybrid runs 10s. So i know he will beat me. BUt i would race just for fun. BUt... He lives in Pennsylvania and I live in South Dakota. I am only 17 and I am not going to drive to PA for a drag race.
