t-5 swap
does anyone know of any websites or shops on the west coast to buy a t-5 manual set up. im looking to change my automatic into manual for a relativley cheap price.

First since your looking for a t-5 i assume its a v-6, if so what year? If its not a v-6 why wouldn't you put in a t-56?

i cant put in a t-56 because i dont have enough money. and i need to fix other things on it

Keep in mind that a T-5 can't handle much more than 300 lb-ft of torque.
So you have four options: a) Make sure the engine is making under 300 lb-ft of torque. b) Get a new T-5 every week. c) Build up the T-5 with extra strong/extra expensive parts. d) Get a T-56. Choose Wisely

So I presume that it is a v8 from your reply if so what year that will give us options. If its the 80s body style then they have some five speeds that work well. If its any newer then your wasting your money putting in a t-5
