I-mark 1.8 diesel performance.

I have a 1983 Isuzu I-mark diesel car. The car goes like 0-60 in 20 seconds. I would like to get down into the single digits if possible. It would be great to be able to get out of my own way. Any one know how?

Re: I-mark 1.8 diesel performance.

Assuming you have the 4fb1 isuzu engine they do pretty well with a small turbo or you can almost bolt in a 4fc1 which is a 2ltr and also came out with a turbo. Not sure what vehicle they would be in over there - maybe a trooper?

http://www.blairs.co.nz/diesel/diesel2.html a list of isuzu engines with some specs

other than that make sure your injectors are working well and improve your air intake and exhaust.

good luck
