So I got another EF...new winter beater/daily driver

I found this car and just had to have it. Its my current project soon to be winter beater/daily driver so I can park the Integra and really start working on it how I want.

I picked this bad boy up for 900 bucks and some spare parts off my other integra I'm parting out. I know its not anything special, hence it being a beater car.

Stuff I have already to go on:

Integra front and rear brakes
KYB AGX shocks
Skunk2 springs - in the mail
Short throw
Repaint the wheels
Neuspeed front strut bar and generic rear strut bar
Integra master cylinder and booster
probably a few things im forgeting

What I'm waiting to order/find still:

Energy suspension master bushing kit
SS brake lines
40/40 prop valve
88-89 civic si interior
4 new tires + 2 blizzaks for snowy weather
Toyota front lip
Timing belt
Water pump
valve cover gasket
Cam seal
vtec solenoid gasket

I plan on painting the car myself and fixing the rust on the passenger side 1/4.

Anyway heres the pics

Re: So I got another EF...new winter beater/daily driver

Nothing is really worng with it. All it needs to pass inspection is to fix the exhaust leak. But like I said I'm putting more aftermarket stuff on it to make it fun.

The motor runs great. Loves to rev just like any other b16. Has good compression across the board. The trans has has no grinds and its a b16 trans so of course thats a good thing. The kid I got it from recently got a integra and bought a house so he was looking to get rid of it. I was lucky enough to find it and pick it up.

Thanks man. Its not getting too much money put into it like I said, its just a beater, but I want it to be a fun beater. The integra is getting my money dumped into it this winter.

Very nice man, looks sweet. too bad the interior is missing, but at least youve got SI seats! Looks like a fun zippy car.

Well its not missing all the interior. It has a crx dash/console and crx seats. it also still has the door panels but someone recovered them and they look ugly. and brown carpet. it also has the rear panels but they are brown. mainly all its missing is the rear seat and speaker pods, it just doesnt match in color.

Re: So I got another EF...new winter beater/daily driver

is that smog inspection cause if it is then that cold air intake is illegal unless it has a carb number just to let u know and save u a hassle of reinspection and ive seen alot of cars pass with exhaust leaks. so be careful which smog station u take it to

Yeah we have smog inspection here, but we aren't so strict around here to fail cars that don't have carb #'s.

Also, I'm a certified inspection and emissions mechanic, so I can do my own cars, which means they always pass the visual test LOL, and after I own it for more than a year my cars will always be operated u nder 5000 miles a year, if you know what I mean.
