jacquemond

Hiya I was reading the old threads on here bout the jacquemond kit. What do you guys think of the kit? I know this guy from the uk whos just had one fitted to his 3000gt and man it looks fantastic. But he did get shot of those nasty rear lights and put some skyline lights in it looks real tight.

Re: jacquemond

Meh, the Jacquemond kit is ok. Theres a guy on 3si who has it. Hes in the military stationed in Germany. He said The kit is nice but Jacquemond and its employees are a bunch of classless losers. Something along the lines of shit missing from the car when he got it back. All kinds of extra miles on it. Things tore up etc. And the owner didnt want to do anything about it. Hes basically been blacklisted on 3si. In fact I dont know if its still there but at one time he had he wouldnt sell to anyone whos a member of 3si because we all have no clue what we are talking about, or something to that extent.

That's actually just a photoshop picture on that site, been proven on 3si.

But those Jacquemond kits are fugly, looks so plain and doesn't flow right...just looks like the car got fat (or fatter). I have yet to see a kit that I liked better than the stock body or a stock year upgrade on these cars.

yea, i love the the sides and back, ill pass on the front.

one thing i wanna do at some point in the future is put the sides and back of that kit on a while spyder SL and do a 99 conv. with a cianci front bumper. have a nice, lazy driving automatic for cruizin'.

Re: jacquemond

i liked the one kit for the 944...rear vents as if it were mid engine, and no rear glass hatch, that was pretty cool

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.
