Keyless Entry Does my Blazer Have it?

This may sound stupid, but I just bought a wrecked 2002 Chevy Blazer. It had no key fob but I think it may have keyless entry. Is there any way to tell if my truck has keyless entry? Thanks in advance.

Re: Keyless Entry Does my Blazer Have it?

look on the RPO sheet in the glovebox for the code AU0. if you need a remote, buy them on ebay ($30 as opposed to $70 at a dealer).

Re: Keyless Entry Does my Blazer Have it?

OK - I have the code that you said. Now, how to I determine which FOB to buy. I have looked on EBAY and I see several listed. Some will give one number and others. Some even say #1 and #2. What do I do next? Does anyone have one that I could get the code off the back? One seller asked for that. Thanks Again in Advance.

Re: Keyless Entry Does my Blazer Have it?

i have a 2000 and the back of mine reads:

GM/UTA: 15732805
FCC ID: KOBUTIBT
CANADA: 1983 101 393

if that doesnt help you any, call a local dealer and ask if they could tell you which one you need.

Re: Keyless Entry Does my Blazer Have it?

Welcome to the site. The RPO sticker is on the inside of the glovebox door. Its lists your VIN # along with a bunch of 3 digit codes that stand for different options your truck came with from the factory. If you want to decode them, there are a couple decoders online such as the one on s-series.org. Any GM dealer should also be able to decode them for you.

This thread is almost a year old though. For future reference, please refrain from posting in threads over 6 months old .
