!!HELP!! My 98 Malibu keeps cutting off
Can someone help me. If I don't warm up my car after it is setting for more than 1 or 2 hours it will cut off when I am on the road driving. Everything cuts off and my oil and battery light comes on beforehand. When I try to start it back up it is fine. I have checked the battery, alternator, oil, they are fine. Can anyone help?

My guess is that you have a bad Cam sensor and or connection. When the sensor is cold the circuit is open so it doesn’t communicate with the ECM which will automatically shut off the engine. When the sensor is warmed up and everything expands, it works normally.
