New LeBaron owner. How about some positive comments?

All I ever see on this forum is things that can go wrong with the 90-95 LeBaron ragtops.

How about sharing what you like about the car?

I'm a new owner of a '95 GTC, and so far, I like it much better than the '96 Sebring convertible it replaced. It's smaller, space seems better-allocated. It's more fun to drive, I think.

You might imagine the dread that swept over me when I checked into this forum and found all the problems people were having with their machines.

Anyway, how 'bout some love for the LeBaron? What do you like about yours?

I have owned 2 Lebarons. A 87 and now a 93 I bought new. No problems other than the usual old age. They seem to run forever.

I am probably the last one on this list capable to answer a question, and it is probably hard to take anything a guy who calls himself "cowpie" seriously. But, you have to remember this. This is a forum about problems with the Lebaron. If you were to take all of the post and lump them together you would probably find only a few things that are really problematic on the car. Check out any of the other forums and you would find page after page of problems even on the highly rated for reliability cars. I am thankful there are some highly skilled people on this list to help guide me through any problem that may occur. I think you will like your LeBaron.

I hadn't really thought of it that way.

Thanks to all for the thoughts. I really enjoy my '95. It has only 66K miles on it. I got about 200K out of the Sebring and it was still running strong when I sold it.

Re: New LeBaron owner. How about some positive comments?

the lebaron is a great car, mine is 17 years old, has 140k on the clock, and the only time it has ever failed was because my mom took it to a "mechanic" who had a brain injury and had no business working on anyones car.
just keep up on the maintinance and pay attention to how the car rides/feels/sounds etc, usualy the car will tell you when something is about to happen, either through the feel/sound of the car or through the guages. the fact is that most cars are reliable, and the failure is caused by unattentive, ignorant or just plain lazzy operators. ok, i'm done preaching now.
