want opinions on glass tint

Hello,

I am new to the forum. Just boughht a used Toyota Prius and would like to tint the windows.

1) What are the best materials available? Lumar? 3M? Diamond?

2) Local business offers Diamond tint with an extended warrantee. They say if someone scratches the tint or breaks into your car it is repaired at no charge at any Diamond distributor in the USA. The regular warrantee offers replacement if the tint bubbles or fades. I could not find Diamond on the internet.

3) I did notice some companies offer tinting material kits at a significant discount over having it done professionally. Have you tried the kits?

Those 3 are all decent brands. as far as the tinting kits go, i would pay somebody to do your tint if you never worked with tinting film before. The price is different becuase its a tedious job unless you have done it a few times. Unless you wanna spend atleast 1 hour per window i would pay somebody to do it, plus you get warrenty through them
