Red face Have trouble with Rims & angle... help.

Alright well ill show you the sad drawing im doing .. ( sketch so far ) , im not good at doing rims unless they are easy peasy.. if anyones got any drawings of rims they did... or rims truned out and such thatd be awsome thanks!
and if theres all pointers too thaatd be rad .. thanks guys!

Ze rims.
I want the tires to look more sharply turned then that .. so it shows more of the rim.. im sure you guys know what imean..unless im dumb ahah. Thats it right now... ill start actually going heavier when i am ready to color the damn thing ( no i didnt wanna color it .. but i was told to color it and its a night time sene too ahah )

p.s. is the body on the car too thick? and i know about the bumper thanks 2 some other people. and the tire ahah.opcorn:

Re: Have trouble with Rims & angle... help.

Hi there!

It looks like your car is looking great thus far.

I hear you on the rims; they can be a pain to draw.

I'm still learning myself but here's how a wheel turned out on my first try:

Try to be detailed as much as possible. When you see it looks bright, leave those spots blank as it is first.

Re: Have trouble with Rims & angle... help.

I hope this will help you..

the second example of whats wrong in perspective could be used for a turned wheel, but i think you dont need it in this perspective you drawed the car.. just make the elipse rounder to make is look turned

i mean this was the 1st colored one i did but it was all painted on a cavas ( back in Art class ahah )
It looks all outta proportion but yeh .. that was my 1st color.its an extremly bad picture you cant see all the detail either.. ( cell phone pic ahha )

ill try to get him to color it ..keep him busy ahahah .
i just hope i dont mess it all up . i think it wont be EXTREMELY hard just the black night i think ill have trouble with ... cause thats alot of black thats gunan go into it. i was gunna ask him if i could color it black and white and the make the car blue like those photography pics you seerunaround

Re: Have trouble with Rims & angle... help.

yeah..if the photo is ur reference, you maybe could ask 'stuffbyalex' for coloring help..he's the god of coloring in my eyes haha..

and I love that painting with the girl on the car!! i can only draw products, no people.. i wish i could draw people, but thats another thing i have to spend a lot of time to..

and for the coloring of ur drawing..i dunno how long it took you to draw, but maybe you can draw it a few more times and everytime make it better..and then try to color one first..and if that goes wrong, you have some backup sketches.. I allways draw my car's 1000ths to improve the design and then im going to color it.

haha..this looks like a conversation in messenger
