Blowing Fuse #14
I have blow my #14 fuse twice in the past week on my 2003 3.8L Windstar. The only issue I can see is the O/D Off switch will no longer work when the fuse is blown. It doesn't blow immediately when I put it in like there is a dead short somewhere. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Re: Blowing Fuse #14
I dunno how much help this will be. The manual says that Fuse14 controls the following :
Autolamp Sensor,
Transmission Overdrive Cancel Switch, Front Electronic Module, Compass Module, Electrochromatic Mirror, Power Sliding Door Overhead Console Switch You've already found the OD Cancel, try checking each of these in turn and see what might be blowing the fuse. |

Re: Blowing Fuse #14
Is the blowing of the fuse associated with any other event, or does it seem random?

Re: Blowing Fuse #14
Mine seems to be random, although once it did blow with the wheel turn to the right and in reverse.

Re: Blowing Fuse #14
Found the problem with mine, the wire in the gear shift had worn through and shorted.
