few questions
i have a few question.first i changed my intake gasket 3 times on my 2000 rodeo vs 1 time one warrantie 2 times on my wallet.(dont have the 10 year warrrantie here in canada.)is it ok to just make my own gaskets with gasket material (the one sold in a roll).also my fan clutch is allways on.to get a new one at the dealer is 5-600 they changed part number and i have to get a new fan....should i go for a generic fan clutch or can i get an electric fan set up and get rid of the fan clutch.i think the generic goes for around 150.00$.thank for all the great answers on te forum like it say at the top of the page i am dependent....

Re: few questions
Wonder if whoever did your IMG changes were over torquing them. Isuzu changed the value a few times to prevent them from cracking. The latest torque value is 13 ft lbs. Should be done with an inch lb wrech since ft lb wrenches will not be accurate enough at that low of a setting. Should not have to be done more then once.
For the fan clutch I would just go aftermarket or even a used one from salvage yard. Aftermarket might work a little different and lock up more often but wont hurt anything.
