Help Me!!! My Cadillac Doesn't Rev Past 2000 Rpm
I HAVE BEEN HAVE SOME PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR IN THE PAST COUPLE OF MONTHS. I OWN A 2000 CADILLAC SLS V8 NORTH STAR ENGINE AND IT DOESN'T WANT TO REV UP PAST 2000 RPM. IT WANTS TO DIE. I BOUGHT A FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER BUT THAT DIDN'T HELP MUCH. PLEASE HELP ME I LOVE THIS CAR AND SINCE IM A GIRL EVERYBODY IS TELLING ME SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!!

Sounds like for what ever reason you car is in " safe " or "limp home mode" you should start with checking the codes it has set off in the computer.

I agree...check the computer codes to see what's going on. If you need help with that, let me know. I have a 2000 STS, so it's the same car. I'd guess you have a bad engine sensor that causing the problem, but the computer codes will pinpoint it.
